Coach Tobias Croke

Director of AHS Plantation -  USPTA Certified

​Coach Tobias Croke began his tennis coaching career at American Heritage School's Palm Beach Campus as an assistant coach in 2000. By 2003, he was appointed Director of Tennis at the Broward Campus, where he has since dedicated himself to players of all levels, from beginners to advanced athletes.

Under Coach Croke's leadership, the Varsity Tennis Teams have achieved multiple District, Regional, and State Championships. He has earned numerous Coach of the Year awards from publications such as the Sun-Sentinel, Miami Herald, and Florida Dairy Farmers. Coach Croke was also a finalist for the National Coach of the Year award by the National High School Coaches Association. Many of his former players have been honored with Player of the Year selections, First Team All-County awards, and have secured college tennis scholarships.

As a player, Coach Croke competed in USTA junior tennis and ranked among America's top 100 singles players and top 10 doubles players in the USTA 18 and under division. He continued his tennis journey at the University of South Carolina - Aiken and Lynn University, both of which achieved NCAA Division II top 10 national rankings. Coach Croke held a top 40 national singles ranking and a top 20 national doubles ranking during his collegiate career.

Coach Croke’s experience and dedication continue to shape the success of American Heritage's tennis program.
