Coach Tobias Croke

Director of AHS Plantation -  USPTA Certified

​

Coach Croke started his tennis coaching career with American Heitage at the Delray Campus under Brian Schleifer in 2000.  In 2003, Coach Croke became Director of Tennis at American Heritage School in Plantation.  As the tennis program director at AHS, Coach Croke has dedicated his time to the development of beginner, intermediate, and advanced tennis players.

   

As head of the Varsity Tennis Team, Coach Croke's boys and girls teams have won 12 District Championships, 11 Regional Championships, and 7 State Championships.  Along the way, Coach Croke has received multiple Coach of the Year awards from the Sun-Sentinel, Miami Herald, and Florida Dairy Farmers.  Several former team members have received Player of The Year Selections, First Team All-County Selections, and College tennis scholarships.

     

As a player, Coach Croke played USTA junior tennis and established himself as one of America's top 100 singles players and top 10 doubles players in the USTA 18 and under age division.  He University of South Carolina - Aiken and Lynn University, on a tennis scholarship. Both teams achieved top 10 National Rankings. During his college career, he achieved a top 40 National singles ranking and a top 20 National doubles ranking.
